Is a procedure established by the Environmental Basis Law to evaluate the environmental impact of a project. Its difference to the Declaration of Environmental Impact is founded on the analysis of the baseline (the terrain w/o the project), the synergy with other activities, and the participation of the neighbors/ community in the evaluation process. I f a project does affect the environment, then an EEI evaluation will be performed based on SEIA guidelines.
