Biogas is a mix of combustible and non combustible gases. It is generated by decomposing organic matter in the absence of oxygen. Tipicaly, biogas is made out of 50 to 55% methane, 40 to 45% carbon dioxide, less than 2% oxygen, and traces of other gases.
